Aims & Objectives
Primary Objectives
- To provide assistance for creating awareness on various social, moral and economic issues affecting the country and to direct this awareness in developing innovative means of generating resources – financial, material and professional, and channelise these resources through people and projects in the field.
- To provide assistance for promoting national integration and encourage, support and develop social welfare programmes for balanced growth of the nation.
- To provide assistance to approved funding agencies in verification of financial statements and progress reports of the voluntary organisation, pertaining to the said development projects and programmes in India.
- To pay all costs, charges and expenses incidental to the management, administration and execution of the objectives and powers herein contained.
- To provide education, food, shelter, cloth and employment opportunities to the needy people and children and young generation in general.
- To establish and/or construct and/or maintain hospitals, dispensaries, clinics, either through aids or from own sources, either free or at concessional rates as the case may be.
- To establish, promote, set-up and run educational institutions to promote professional, technical, management, engineering, law, medical education etc.
- To open orphanages and other such institutions to rehabilitate orphans, destitute, distressed and others as set out above.
- To start old age asylums for accommodating the deserted old people or the amelioration from their sense of insecurity.
- To organize and conduct rural programme, or seminars to improve the standard of living including mental health care.
- To promote, project, aid and stimulate trade, commerce and industries etc.
- To develop and adopt villages or centers for children’s progress, welfare or uplift.
- To open, found, promote, set-up and run schools, colleges, libraries, reading rooms and other establishments or institutions for advancements of education and knowledge in arts, science, literature, humanities and other useful subjects.
- To open, found, establish, promote and run hospitals, boarding schools, gymnasiums and other trading vocational institutions and encouraging primary, secondary and higher education and also English medium schools including training in handicrafts, fine arts.
- To promote all means of educational research and training in urban and rural areas, based on contemporary social values and ethics, as well as policies of the state and in accordance with the current and future sectorial needs of the nation.
- To engage in assessing, formulating and implementing programmes aimed at human resource development, with a specific focus on children, adolescent and youth.
- To establish schools, colleges, institutes and training centres in choosing separate names and descriptions to meet special needs and requirements of the Trust in pursuance of the objectives of the Trust and assign or transfer the management functions to special bodies or committees, as shall be decided by the Board of Trustees.
- To promote preservation of environment and ecology, promotion of human and animal health, human intervention towards regeneration of natural resources.
- To organise and implement programmes for rehabilitation and mainstreaming of persons in disadvantaged conditions and with disability and to support their ventures in self-employment and enterprising activities through extension education of vocational nature and aimed at their capacity building and empowerment.
- To open, found, establish, promote, set up, run, maintain, assist, finance, support and/or aid or help in the setting up and/or maintaining and/or running charitable dispensaries, maternity homes, child welfare centres, convalescent homes, sanatoriums, hostels, gerontology centres and other similar institutions or centres for rendering or providing medical relief and/or aid to the suffering humanities or for research centres and institutions for promotion of research and education for medical science.
- To establish institutions to impart physical training, yogic education, medication, Indian values, culture and ethics and all other alternative therapies.
- To assist and collaborate with other organisations having similar objectives and to operationalise objectives/programmes of human resource development and social change.
- To grant, pay or give scholarships, stipends, prizes, rewards, allowances and other financial assistance or help in cash or kind to the students with a view to help them in pursuing their studies.
- To publish newspapers, magazines and journals etc.
- Establishing or giving subscriptions, contributions and donations to any charitable trust, foundation, fund institution, cultural centers or to the Govt. or local authorities for promotion of any or all of the aforesaid objects.
Objectives Incidental or Ancillary to the Main Objectives
- To enter into such contracts or agreements and offer franchise, as the Trust may think fit for the purposes of the Trust and on such terms and conditions as may be deemed necessary for such or any of those purposes.
- To retain from time to time by way of employment or engagement or on contract and remove skilled, unskilled, professional, technical, administrative, clerical or any other personnel and pay for their services such as fees, remuneration, or such proportion thereof, as the trust in its discretion considers expedient.
- To invest the funds of the trust not immediately required for, on such securities or otherwise in such manner as may from time to time be determined.
- To borrow any money required for the purposes of the trust upon such terms and upon such securities as may be determined from time to time.
- To accept, hold, or administer any gift, donation or contribution in kind or money, whether upon trust or otherwise and to undertake and execute any deed or obligation, which may be deemed conducive to any of the objectives of the trust.
- To purchase, take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any real or personal property or any interest herein, and any rights, easements, privileges which the trust may think necessary or convenient with reference to any of its objectives.
- To raise funds, undertake and hold such schemes, projects, investments, industry or any other activity, which may generate funds for the trust to actualise its objectives.
- To draw, make, accept, endorse, discount, execute and issue cheques, promissory notes and other negotiable or transferable instruments.
- To open and operate accounts of any description in any bank or banks which shall be operated by the Managing Trustee.
- To invest, dispose of, transfer and otherwise deal with monies, assets and properties, for the time being, of the Trust in such manner as the law permits and proper to do in carrying out the objects of the Trust.
- All activities financed from the funds shall be conducted in accordance with the ideals and objectives as stated hereinabove and no discrimination shall be made on grounds of religion, caste, creed, sex or political affiliation of the implementing agency or beneficiary.
- To do all such lawful things as may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objectives of the trust.
- To undertake jobs, programmes of any NGO, govt. sponsored programmes or any other nodal agencies.
- To open society/societies under the guidance of the trust as and when required.
