Dr. Smaraki Pattanayak is the Principal Director at ASBM University in Bhubaneswar, specializing in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management. She earned her doctorate from Ravenshaw University and holds a Master’s degree in HRM from the Birla Institute of Management Technology. In 2023, Dr. Pattanayak received the ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award for her innovative teaching methods. She is also an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), where she completed the 44th Faculty Development Program.

With a robust academic and professional background, Dr. Pattanayak has participated in several faculty development programs and published her research in top international and national journals. Her research covers industries such as NALCO, ArcelorMittal, and Infosys, focusing on areas like psychological contracts, happiness, talent management, and organizational culture. She has also conducted training sessions for industry professionals on leadership, emotional intelligence, and HR analytics. Dr. Pattanayak is currently supervising four doctoral research scholars and remains actively involved in advancing both the academic and professional spheres of HR and management.
